What is Ayurvedic Yoga? Ayurveda and Yoga are two sides of the same coin! These ancient sciences are both the study of life. Ayurveda is considered the study of the functions of the body, while yoga traditionally has to do with the study of the mind and spirit.
In the West, we’re often exposed to yoga as a mode of exercise and solely having to do with the body, but the asanas, or physical postures, are really meant as a way of supporting the body in order to better meditate and come into union with the divine. To be on the path of Ayurveda and Yoga is to be in the wonder and beauty of all of life’s offerings.
